Yulie Archontaki is a multi-award-winning stage performer born in Athens, Greece. She has traveled almost all over the world, studied architecture at London Metropolitan University, received IDB1 certification in Flamenco dance, and in 2013, moved to the USA to complete her Master's degree in Physical Theatre on a scholarship. For the past 10 years, she has studied and worked in the USA, expanding her artistic horizons to include film acting and directing.

As an associate member of The Actors' Gang, she trained in 'The Style' technique under the guidance of Cynthia Ettinger and Tim Robbins. She has created and performed solo shows in LA and has worked with USA-based theatrical companies, including the Tony Award-winning San Fransisco Mime Troupe, as well as in award-winning productions with 'The Rogue Artists Ensemble' and 'Unbound Productions'. Her work with 'Fiasco! Physical Theatre’ received the 'Encore Producers Award 2019' from the Hollywood Fringe for the performance 'Death and the Fool' (Mistero Buffo). Yulie Archontaki has extensive training in clowning, shadow theater, and figure construction.

As an educator, in 2017, she founded the Hellenic Academy Theatre Department, where she taught the Greek language through theater and directed performances tailored for children of Greek descent in the USA. She has taught at renowned educational institutions in America, including Idyllwild Arts Academy, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Pacific Resident Theatre, Chandler School of Music, and Mayfield Senior Conservatory.

Finally, she has written, illustrated, and published two books: "The King's Special Spice," a fairy tale that puts children to sleep and awakens adults, which was staged in 2022 under her direction. Her second book, "The Diary of a Weird* Child," was adapted into a short animated film directed by herself. It premiered at the LA Greek Film Festival and is now traveling to festivals around the world. She has appeared on the big screen in USA and UK productions, as well as in the web series 'It’s a Greek Thing,' which she co-writes. 

As an artist, she is constantly evolving and exploring new techniques and approaches to storytelling. Her work is skillfully crafted to appeal to audiences of all ages, with a focus on empowering individuals and raising awareness about important everyday issues. She values collaboration, willingness to take risks and she believes that our stories should be shared... because by sharing our stories, we share our humanity.
