

Yulie Archontaki is an award-winning performer, Flamenco dancer, musician, architect, author & illustrator of meaningful stories. Born and raised in Greece, she studied in the UK and USA, travelled all around the world and currently lives in Los Angeles. Her Academic credits include: a BA Honors, and Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from London Metropolitan University in UK, an IDB1 Flamenco and Spanish Dance degree from the Spanish Dance Society, and an MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre in the USA (scholarship recipient).
In the past 5 years in L.A., Yulie has participated in over 25 stage and film productions as an actor, choreographer, and director. Some of her professional collaborations include the Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe, Unbound Productions for ‘Wicked Lit 2016' (2 ovation award winner), the Rogue Artists Ensemble for ‘Kaidan Project’ (7 ovation awards winner) and Fiasco! Physical Theatre.
Her work with Fiasco!, ‘Death and the Fool’ won the Encore Producers Award at the Hollywood Fringe 2019. Yulie was an Associate Member of the Actor’s Gang, trained by Cynthia Ettinger and Tim Robbins.
As a Flamenco dancer, she has participated in the musical ‘Mary Jane’ (Best Musical at the Oregon Independent Film Festival 2016) and has been awarded '1st place in Ethnic Ensemble Professional Division’ at the International Dance Competition Hellas with Danza Flamenca Grupo.
When not on stage, Yulie can be found writing and illustrating stories. Her books 'The Diary of a Weird* Child' and 'The King's Special Spice' can be found on Amazon. The latest, is a bilingual children's story in Greek and English. Yulie is currently 'cooking' 'The Eggplant Salad' in Greek and ‘A Paper Friend’ in English!
